With the exception of the occasional Instagram photo, we hardly ever see Wizards of Waverly Place co-stars Selena Gomez and David Henrie together. Luckily, that is about to change.
We chatted with David earlier today about his new movie 1000 to 1 where he plays Cory Weissman, a college basketball player who suffers a stroke his freshman year, and he revealed that he and Selena still “talk all the time.” The heartthrob even told us that they plan on starring in a movie together sometime in the future!
"Selena and I have always talked about wanting to do a movie together. Just one day that would be fun, when the timing’s right," David EXCLUSIVELY tells us.
We can’t be the only Wizards fans who are freaking out right now, right? Though, how awkward would it be it Selena and David played love interests in their future film?
David Henrie, known for Wizards of Waverly Place and playing the son on How I Met Your Mother, had joined Sony’s comedy sequel Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
The film will reunite Henrie with star Kevin James, as they both star in upcoming film Little Boy, set for release in June.
The sequel, which will be directed by Andy Fickman, follows James’ Paul Blart who attends a Security Guard Expo in Las Vegas with his daughter. Despite being teased by casino security and other attendees, Blart takes on a group of dangerous art thieves.
Henrie, 24, will play Lane, a valet attendant who meets Blart’s daughter (Raini Rodriguez), and they develop a crush on each other.
@DavidHenrie: “With the @realdonaldtrump watching the Super Bowl game. Checked that one off the bucket list. #thumbsup #wedidntgetfired #hewasreallycool #forreal”
